Annual Meeting 2025

Every year the DCCC ctDNA Research Center invites everyone in the center to the Annual Meeting – this is always held in the third week of November. The purpose of the meeting is to get an update on the activities, events, and projects in the center – and to strengthen existing collaborations and create new ones.

The Annual Meeting 2025 will be the final one, as funding from the Danish Cancer Society expires ends December 31, 2025.

NB! Participation is free and includes meals and overnight stay - but the registration is binding, and if you don’t show, and have not unregistered at least 14 days before the meeting, we will have to charge a no show fee.

The Annual Meeting is open for every member/participant of the center (i.e. this is not a meeting for our collaborators in the industry or for our international collaborators).

When you arrive on 10 November you will get a nametag and a program for the day - and it will be possible to get a snack before we begin.

Parking:

The hotel offers 200 free parking spaces along with 8 Monta electric cehicle charging stations.


Public transport

If you arrive in Middelfart by train. you can easily access Milling Hotel Park from Section D, Platform 4. A stairway leads directly to the hotel parking lot.

The center will not cover transport.

The Annual Meeting will take place in facilities at Park 1. Park 1 is located at the end of the parking lot, seperate from the main building.

Posters:

We will host a poster session as the previous years. During the two days you are free to take a look at the posters, and on Monday 10 November we will host the official Poster Session.

The poster session is a great place to present your project and get informal discussions. Therefore, we encourage everyone to bring a poster of your projects, even though the results are not ready yet. You can present study design, ideas and currents status. Feel free to indicate in the registration if you bring a poster.


Poster size: A0 (118,9 cm x 84,1 cm)

When you arrive you must put up your poster, so the participants can look at the poster during the two days.

Overnight stay:

As part of your registration, you can book a room at Milling Hotel Par for the night bestween November 10-11. The cost of the stay is covered by the center, and is available to participants travelling to Middelfart.

Pictures:

Be aware that the meeting will be photographed and the pictures may be used in connection to coverage of the meeting. Regarding portrait pictures, the concerned person will be asked for accept of potential use.

At the meeting everyone can share the newest insights on ctDNA guided cancer treatment from their projects. There will be room for feedback and discussions in a closed forum where no one will leak preliminary results to the outside world – thus an opportunity to have a closed discussion in the benefit of the research of ctDNA.

The goal with the meeting:

  • Meet each other across the country and strengthen the collaboration
  • Get updated on the activities, events, and projects
  • Get inspired, help, and feedback in this closed forum
