Background

Pneumatic tube systems (PTSs) are used in most hospitals in Denmark and abroad for efficiently transporting samples. With the implementation of cfDNA/ctDNA analyses in the hospitals’ routine, it is crucial to assess the influence of using PTS for whole blood transportation on cfDNA/ctDNA quality/quantity.

National Infrastructure 1 (NI1) launched in the spring 2023 an investigation of transport of whole blood samples for ctDNA analysis in pneumatic tube transport [PTS]. The investigation aims to examine the potential contamination of cfDNA samples with high molecular weight DNA from ruptured leukocytes.

The webinar

The project is now complete, and the data has been analysed. Join the webinar where NI1 will discuss the project and present the findings.

We look forward to welcoming you to the webinar!
