Background
Malene Green Madsen and Niels Pallisgaard from National Infrastructure 2 (NI2) are leading a quality assessment trial (EQA) focused on plasma purification. The aim of the study is to evaluate different platforms and kits for the purification of ctDNA, with the goal of standardizing ctDNA purification and thereby improving the quality of ctDNA analyses in Denmark.
8 different laboratories in Denmark participated in the study, and they received plasma samples consisting of 2 sets of 4 samples, each containing 5 ml of plasma. In total, cfDNA was purified on 6 different platforms using 7 different kits.
The EQA evaluates the laboratories on various parameters including ctDNA yield, reproducibility of the purification process, proteinase K carry-over, the amount of single-stranded DNA, and more.
The webinar
At the webinar, NI2 will present the results from the EQA. All samples will be anonymized and presented. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to discuss the data and the study as a whole.
The webinar is open to everyone – including those who did not participate in the EQA.
We look forward to welcoming you to the webinar!
